Hello my name is Angie Dyer.  I am the President and Coach of the drill team. I book the team gigs and enlist new members. I use to ride Patches a lot.

 

I have been a part of 3 drill teams. T.T.S.W., T.Tx. Blaze, and The East Texas Riders. I really enjoyed all of them. I worked as the PR person for the Texas Blaze. Charles and I would help as the ground crew during performances for the team with the Texas Blaze. I would help carry flags/jackets, drinks/food, and load and unload horses.   

 

XuXa really wanted a team of just young people her age. She wanted songs and a routine that young people would like.  So she asked me if she could make a Kid drill team. I told her yes and that I would help her get started. So far, it has been lots of fun.  I will be writing a News letter once a week to give you the heads up on upcoming events. So stay tuned.  

 

Special note to the parents

My work experience includes; Administration/Secretary for major telephone companies like Sprint/United, Southwestern Bell Wireless, and MCI. My most notable child work experience is with the Rise School of Dallas on Royal Lane in Dallas, Texas. I worked in the Administration Staff Department and worked directly with Down syndrome children and their parents.

 

4 years ago, I shifted gears.  I am a stay home mom.  Charles enjoys working on older houses.

 

We attend a local Baptist Church.  Charles and I have been married since 1984. XuXa is an only child.  I have always loved and enjoyed being around children. I love all kids- and I believe the kids – know it. XuXa is my joy – I prayed for a child and I am so glad God gave me XuXa.

 

We love snow-skiing, riding bikes, swimming, and of course, last but not least horseback riding.
